As a young child, Rockett sat in the family’s aroma filled kitchen watching his grandmothers cook for family.  Little did he know Gladys and Lillian were training him for a future in feeding the community.

In 2015, Rockett developed a deeper passion for barbecue and soon created a flavor of his own.  In 2017 Hurricane Harvey devastated his community in Houston, TX, leaving behind flooded homes and businesses alike. This unfortunate opportunity brought Rockett BBQ to the forefront as he began selling his signature smoked meats and BBQ sauces to his community in need.  

Over a decade was spent refining his signature dry rub and sauces, now available as ROCKETT SAUCE! Living an active fitness lifestyle as a Personal Trainer and Middle School Sports Coach, led Rockett to produce a great tasting sauce using spices, minerals, fruit extracts, and no added sugar!  Naturally sweetened with date paste and monk fruit, Rockett Sauces are 100% free from added sugar and artificial sweeteners, making them keto and diabetic friendly.
